Flashshot and Hub
Hub (finally) rejected Nakrim And The Rifle. A week after they said they would, and with a form rejection, but never mind. Leaves me free to try somewhere else with the piece (maybe. Maybe I'll rework it a little first).
And I'm incredibly pleased to announce that Flashshot have taken both Hell Freezes Over and Summer Barbecue for publication. Don't know when they'll be shot at people (flashed at them, perhaps?) yet, but I don't think it will be before March, maybe February. The publication schedule currently runs up to the end of January, without my name in it. I'm guessing some time after that, which seems a long way off. Doubt I'll forget about it, though.
And now that I've had to create a spreadsheet to keep track of acceptances and publications, I've remembered just how much I don't like Works and wish I had a copy of Excel here. I guess I'll just have to wait until I go to see my parents and get their copy.
Alright, fine, it's not like I had to make the spreadsheet to keep track of this, but damn it, I wanted to. I felt the occasion called for something more than some green highlighting
